Homemade Peanut Butter

A simple recipe for delicious and healthy homemade peanut butter. Free of oils, sugar, and salt, this is a peanut butter you can enjoy guilt-free.

Equipment

  • Scale
  • Food Processor/Blender
  • Bowl or Container

Ingredients
  

  • 125 g Dry Roasted Unsalted Peanuts* (1 Cup)

Instructions
 

  • Weigh the peanuts and make sure they are free from any shells or skin.
  • Add to your food processor or blender.
  • Blend and most of the peanut pieces will get stuck to the sides of the mixer.
  • Scrape the walls and blend again. Repeat this process over and over and eventually the peanuts will cream.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • If you desire a chunky version, add some peanuts at the end of the process. Bend until you reach the level of chunks you want.

*Depending on the size of your food processor, you will most likely require more than one cup of peanuts. See below for more information.
