Method
- Melt the butter over a very low heat.
- While the butter is melting, combine all the dry ingredients to one bowl and roughly blend.
- In a separate bowl, combine the milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Wisk gently
- Add the dry ingredients to the milk/egg mixture and wisk together.
- Lastly, add the melted butter and mix until it’s all together.
- Ladle onto your waffle iron and cook until the outside is golden brown (usually around 5 minutes).
- *A good indication your waffle is done is when the steam coming out of the iron is severally reduced.
Notes
*This will make enough for 2 people. If you have a family of 4, or larger, you double, triple, quadruple the recipe.
