Teriyaki Sauce
A fast and easy recipe to make the perfect teriyaki sauce. Don’t ruin a dish with bad teriyaki sauce… make your own.

Part I
- 1/8 1/8 Japanese Soy Sauce
- 1/2 Cup Water
- 10 Grams Brown Sugar (2 ½ Teaspoons)
- ½ Tablespoon Honey
- ¼ Teaspoon Ground Ginger
- ¼ Teaspoon Lemon Zest
- ¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder
- ¼ Teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Mirin
Part II
- 1/8 1/8 Water
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
Zest your ginger and lemon.
In a pot, combine all the ingredients from Part I into a saucepan.
Over medium heat, cook until it starts bubble, which should take about 1 minute.
Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cold water together in a cup and stir until dissolved.
Add the mixture to the saucepan.
Cook and stir sauce until thickened, 5 to 7minutes.
Let stand for a few minutes to thicken further.
