Method
- Zest your ginger and lemon.
- In a pot, combine all the ingredients from Part I into a saucepan.
- Over medium heat, cook until it starts bubble, which should take about 1 minute.
- Mix cornstarch and 1/4 cold water together in a cup and stir until dissolved.
- Add the mixture to the saucepan.
- Cook and stir sauce until thickened, 5 to 7minutes.
- Let stand for a few minutes to thicken further.
