Strawberry Basil Mojito
The Strawberry Basil Mojito is a knockout combination of sweet with just the right amount of bitter. It's the perfect for those hot summer days where you want to kickback with a delicious cocktail.
Pint Glass
Masher
Jigger
Knife
Cutting Board
Lewis Bag & Mallet
- 6-8 Basil Leaves
- 3-4 Strawberries
- 2 Oz White Rum (60ml)
- 1 Oz Fresh-Squeezed Lime Juice (30ml)
- ½ Oz Simple Syrup (15ml)
- 1½ Oz Club Soda (45ml)
- Fresh Basil (for garnish)
Roughly tear the basil leaves them and drop them in the pint glass.
Half the strawberries and put them in the pint glass.
Use the masher to crush everything in the glass.
Put in 3 or 4 ice cubes.
Add the rum, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup to the glass and then give it a stir.
Add crushed ice to the top and then top off with soda water.
Garnish with feast basil.
