Peugeot Pepper Mill

Peugeot Pepper Mill

Review: Peugeot Pepper Mill ★★★★

Knock your cooking up a notch with a handy dandy pepper mill from Peugeot. Freshly milled pepper adds a lot more punch, pop, and flavor to dishes. Being that it’s freshly milled, it’s all more pungent, requiring far less to be used. Because of these factors, it works quite well with salad dressings, like our Super Simple Italian Dressing, when you’re topping a dish with pepper, like fettuccine Alfredo, or for alcoholic drinks that require pepper, like a Bloody Mary. Plus, a pepper mill adds a bit of class and legitimacy to your kitchen, if that’s kind of thing that’s important to you.

Why Peugeot? Simply because they are the best. Before investing in a pepper mill, we did a fair amount of research. We learned that Peugeot has been making pepper mills for almost 200 years. They are regarded to be the best in the business. They have so much faith in their pepper mills that they come with a lifetime guarantee. You can find cheaper mills, but you won’t find anything better. If you invest in a Peugeot, it’s one and done. And after half a decade of using ours, we’re still happy with it.

The Down Side of Milling

Using a pepper mill can be labor intensive, and time consuming. You don’t want to grind out a few tablespoons worth of pepper. For this reason, it’s always handy to keep pre-ground pepper on hand for any recipes that require a lot of pepper.

It’s also a major pain in the butt to fill. You most likely spill pepper corns everywhere. Using a funnel makes short work of this tedious task.
